| Cherokee District held its first ever ITV roundtable tonight, and it was an incredible success. Due to our district's geographical nature, some volunteers were spending 90+ minutes driving one way to roundtable.
We knew we had to find a different way, and we have!
This idea was the brainchild of volunteer Charlie Brown. Work began in March of 2010 to find a way to use readily available technology at the satellite Southeast Missouri State University campuses in Sikeston, Malden, and Kennett.
What we experienced tonight was an interactive roundtable with people staying closer to home. With this new format, no one has to drive more than 30 minutes to get to roundtable.
Thanks again to all the Cherokee District volunteers for taking a chance on something new... and benefiting from it tremendously!
