| Hello Gravois Trail District and welcome to a new and exciting school year! After less than a month as the new GT District Executive, I am already well underway with Boy Talks as I make my way to grades 1-5 at all of the schools in our district. As the school year wears on, it is my hope that our district blog will become a reliable source of timely information for our members and a place you will visit often for news and updates.
As many of you have said, I have "big shoes" to fill taking over Zoran's former role but I promise to work extra hard to earn the same trust and respect that had been built with Zoran. I have had a lot of people ask what drew me to the Boy Scouts of America and it really comes down to one simple reason, "I want to make a difference." The BSA promotes character growth, citizenship training and good values and is designed to bring out the best in people. This is exactly what young people today, our future leaders, need and I'm excited to be a catalyst for such a great organization.
So who's ready to get this thing rolling? I've got both hand in the air!
