Our good friends over in the Simon Kenton Council in Columbus, Ohio came up with a great way to honor the victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy. Lisa, a cubmaster from Pack 9, created a document to record 20 good turns, one for each of the 20 children whose lives were taken on Dec. 14. Scouts who fill up the sheet can mail it to Lisa, who will then send it on to the Connecticut Yankee Council to be passed on to the families.
The second document contains cards
that can be passed out to the recipients of each good deed to let them know the
spirit in which it was performed. Please forward this on to any leaders who may be looking for a way to positively address the events in
Connecticut with their Scouts.
