Religious Emblems

Happy New Year

I'm writing this during the last morning of 2012.  Tomorrow 2012 will have ceased to exist except for memories.  The New Year is a good time for new beginnings and new projects.  As the religious emblems coordinator for the Kaskaskia District I'd like to invite each unit leader to consider encouraging you Scouts to work towards the Religious Emblems.  There is an emblem for virtually every religion, be it Christian, Jewish, Muslim or whatever.  Work towards these emblems is in line with the 12th point of the Scout Law, a Scout is Reverent.

If you want some help in getting started or just need more information, I'd be happy to provide whatever assistance I can.

May all of you experience Peace in the coming year.

Don Sparling, Kaskaskia Religious Emblem Coordinator
