​Good Food, Great Fun and support a Great Cause. Troop A247, Southern Illinois' own 2013 Jamboree Troop is hosting a comedy night on Saturday, March 23 at the Murphysboro American Legion. Doors open at 6 pm, comedy follows.

Venture Crew 4 is helping with this.  One of our Associate Advisors (Nicole Allen) is a student at Second City in Chicago.  She and two other writers from SC have written a series of comedy sketches.  They will be producing and performing them along with help from Crew 4, JT A247 parents, and other community members.  Saturday March 23 at the Murphysboro American Legion (1700 Gartside).  Doors open at 6:00. There will also be a dinner catered by Pat's BBQ.  Cost is $15.  A dessert auction and a silent auction will also be happening.  18 to attend.  All tickets must purchased in advance.
