Eagle Scout Scott Guerrero made Scouting possible for his children, his community and communities far from his home for more than 27 years. He was Cubmaster and a committee member of Pack 303, chartered to Avery Elementary School. He was committee chairman of Troop 303 for six years. He attended the National Jamboree in 2001 and in 2005 was the council contingent leader for the jamboree. He led thousands of Scouts and leaders during a three-year term as chairman of his district. He completed Wood Badge training and also served as an assistant course director. He served as council Cub Scout training vice chairman. After retiring, he returned to become assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 307, chartered to Central Catholic Grade School. For the last four years, he gave of his time, resources and leadership to Scouts throughout north St. Louis. After graduating from college, he served in the Peace Corp for two years, establishing a fishing cooperative in Brazil. He is a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ and recently served as the church’s capital campaign co-chairman. Troop 307 attended, and was warmly welcomed, to Sunday services at the church in Webster Groves.
