Below you will find information about the Spring Recruiting Drive. To receive supplies and help with Lunchroom or Classroom talks you will need to provide the three (June, July, and August) activities the Pack will hold to help retain the new Cub Scouts.

How would you like to camp and search St. Louis with 3,000 of your closest Scouting Friends? April 25-27, 2014 you will have your opportunity. We have rented out St. Vincent Park and will have an Amazing Race around St. Louis on Saturday. Activities will be age appropriate for all levels of Scouting.

Cost: $15 per person. After February 3 meals will be available on a first come first served basis for $18 per person.

The Documents below are the Cub Scout Day Camp Packet. I will bring the hard copies to February Roundtable. Camper Savings day is March 1, 2014. That is 2 months earlier than normal. Please review these documents and submit as soon as possible.

The Camp Card sales in upon us. This is a easy way for a Scout to help earn his way to Camp. Please review the manual and submit a request for Camp Cards online. Many units asked for a new type of fundraiser. This is one that delivers 50% commission to your unit and also benefits the Greater St. Louis Area Council at the same time. It is a win/win for your Scouts and Scouting in the St. Louis area.

There are two major awards that are presented every year at the District Recognition Dinner in January.
The first is the Unit "Spark Plug" award. Given to that one leader/parent in your unit who gives that extra spark to create quality programs for the youth. Nominations are due January 7, 2014.

The second award that is presented at the dinner is the District Award of Merit. It is awarded up to eight individuals who serve at the district level. Giving their time, talents, and treasures all involved in Scouting. Nominations are due December 10, 2013.
