The 2013 Thunderbird Volunteer Recognition Dinner is almost upon us. Hopefully your Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, or Crew Advisor has already told you about the dinner and you are planning to attend.
This year the dinner is being held at the Wild Flower Restaurant and Catering in the Central West End. The address is 4590 Laclede Ave, St. Louis, MO 63108. Doors will open at 6:30 with dinner being served at 7:00. We will also have some entertainment during the gathering and dinner. Cost is $25 per person.
All volunteer leaders are encouraged to attend and share in some fellowship with their fellow Scouters. The evening will also include reports on the state of the district and council, and will culminate with the presentation of the District Award of Merit, the Eagle Within, to two individuals. The District Award of Merit is the highest award a district can bestow upon a volunteer.
