My webelos is signed up for swimming skills center, but he also wants to go to the fall camp encampment.  Can he miss the first day of swimming and still be able to achieve his aquanaut if he attends the remaining swimming lessons?

According to Steve Miller of the Swimming Skills Center, if the Scouts can swim, they should be able to get the Aquanaut award if they miss one Saturday.
