North Star District Annual Business
Meeting and Elections
In accordance with the Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy
Scouts of America
bylaws this is official notice of the District Annual Business Meeting and
Elections.
Dr. Rance Thomas, District
Nominating Committee Chairman of the North Star District of the Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy
Scouts of America, proudly announces that the following community leaders serve on the 2012 North Star District Nominating Committee for the recommendation
of district officers and Members-at-Large: Rebecca Zoll, Donald Reeves, Richard Dorsey,
Barbara Thompson, Jerry Hart, Benjamin Wesley, David Bolton, and Bret Berigan.
The District Annual Meeting
and Elections will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Nidec
Motor Corp. (8050 West Florissant Ave., St. Louis, MO 63136).
Chartered Organization Representatives
and Members-at-Large of the North Star District, and Executive Board Members of
the Greater St. Louis Area Council residing in our district’s territory, are
invited to make recommendations of possible nominees in writing to the North
Star District Nominating Committee for consideration and are eligible to vote
at the Annual Business Meeting and Elections.
Nominations and
recommendations must be submitted in writing no later than November 1, 2012. Active members should send their
recommendations to: Mark A. Hays,
Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, 4568 W. Pine Blvd., St.
Louis, MO 63108. Nominations are not accepted from the floor.
The slate of officers for the
2013 year will be voted on at this meeting.
