Scouting for Food 2012 is just around the corner. This year bag distribution is on Saturday November 10th, and pick-up is the following Saturday the 17th.
As we announced yesterday at Roundtable, due to a production issue the SFF bags were not available for pick-up. We will be distributing the bags at the November Roundtable, which is being held at the Marine Corps League building at 5700 Leona. Hard copies of the unit maps will be available there.
We have done some tweaking to maps this year so please pay close attention to your area. Follow the link below to see the master map for the entire district. Also pay close attention to your assigned firehouse. The District will only have three firehouses this year.

Pack and Troops should participate in both the bag distribution and bag pick-up. This will help gaurantee that no areas are missed. We would like to see units cover their entire area, but if you don't think your Scouts can do it, that's fine. Just remember that if you don't cover it, no one else will.
On the 17th, please do not start picking up food before 10am. This will give people ample time to place the bags out on their porch.
