The Annual Thunderbird District Volunteer Recognition Dinner is coming up on Friday, January 17th.
This year, the District is adding a unit-level award to be presented at the dinner; The Special Achiever or "Spark Plug" Award. The Spark Plug Award is recognition for an individual in a Pack, Troop, or Crew who through their constant efforts, is a driving force in their unit. It is an award for those who may otherwise never be recognized at the district level for their contributions to their units. Each Pack, Troop, or Crew can nominate one leader for this recognition. The award will be presented to the nominee at the Volunteer Recognition Dinner.
The nomination form can be found below and must be submitted by the January Roundtable meeting on January 6th. Questions can be directed to District Executive Ryan Kirchner at 314-651-0887 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
